The IX Federica Ambrosini’s Floral Masterclass, with the valuable support of Elisa Mocci Academy, just came to a close in the stunning town of Matera in Italy, UNESCO heritage and Capital of Culture 2019.

For the first time, Matera’s Duomo Square was used for a big event; shades of pink and gold encompassed a closing dinner Gala under the stars with more than 10,000 amazing flowers from G-Fresh, Meijer Roses and Parfum Flower Company, including orchids from Walter Grootscholten Orchids. Lights and candles, delicious food, a live band from Prague, a wonderful mise en place planned to the last detail, brought the square to life, with people joining from all over the world.

Federica’s masterclasses are the most effective experience to share and present to others the passion she has for the art of floral design.

The masterclasses, becoming more in demand, are the perfect experience for all those who want a start in the floral design world or just widen the knowledge they already possess, no previous experience is required in the sector, but passion and the will to challenge yourself is a must.

During the masterclass, participants have the opportunity to plan and realise a project, taking care of the entire production from scratch; from the starting concept to the actual creation that will become the magical setting of the final gala dinner, which all the participants will have the opportunity to attend.

In Matera, 30 attendees worked together to create this wonderful atmosphere!

Federica is already working on the next edition, to be held next March 2018, in a fantastic new location still to be announced. Stay tuned!
